Beauty Favourites #2

I wanted to share some more products I've really been loving this month. I really need to venture into the American beauty market while I'm here too!

MAC Lady Danger
Lady Danger has become somewhat my signature lip colour. I originally received this shade in a goodie bag from the British Fashion Awards no less, but lost it only weeks later and have since repurchased. There is something really unique about this vibrant orangey red colour and I seriously adore the matte finish! I find my skin tone really doesn't suit pinks but will be indulging into MAC's offer of reds to see which other gems I can discover...

Collection Fast Stroke Liquid Eye Liner
I swear by this eye liner and have barely strayed away since the age of about 15. A bargain at under £3, this eye liner is my go-to product for creating my signature cat-eye flicks and is super easy to use. I find, in comparison to a couple of other eyeliners I have tried over the years, the Fast Stroke Eyeliner stays very black and refrains from smudging or sweating off when wearing all day. I'm actually praying my stash of Collection eye liner doesn't run out while I'm Stateside!

John Frieda Go Blonder Shampoo & Conditioner
I'm a big JF fan and the latest blonde shampoo addition certainly does not disappoint. As a natural brunette, I bleach my hair around 3 times a year to keep up my ombre effect. Although less so in the summer months, my blonde hair tends to fade after a few weeks of bleaching... but the Go Blonder range is a blessing for dip-dye fanatics like myself and keeps my end looking brighter and lighter for longer. Its very reasonably priced too and definitely saves on bleaching so often.

Lancome Gel Eclat Clarifying Cleanser
I'm lucky to say my Mum is a huge high-end skincare product lover and have been taught religious skincare routines and make-up removal tips from a young age. I have a hatred of make-up wipes and swear by wash-off cleanser to remove my make-up. Having used a lot of different cleansers in the past, Lancome is rated as one of the best in my opinion and have used no other brand for at least the last year. I usually dampen my face with a splash of water before applying this product all over my face and then washing off. The gel texture removes even the heaviest foundation, leaving my skin fresh and make-up free before bed. I also have major love for the Lancome foaming cleanser which I might be repurchasing once this one is empty!

Seventeen 'Brows That!' Brow Kit
Another product my Mum introduced me too is this Seventeen Brow kit. Having never used a wax before on my eyebrows, I found this product to give a great bold effect which is really quick and easy to apply. Using the wax to start off with, I set a base for my brows and then use the brown powder to create definition and a bold arch. What I love about this product is than it comes with a highlighter which I love to use on my brow bone and as a shimmer over my lids.
