Made For Suede

So I'm back after a little blogging break and I'm really excited to share some new post with you guys! I've just finished my first exam today and have another one next week but from February I'll be back into my regular posting routine! Uni has really taken over my life lately and I've been dedicating so much time to my studies - I'm literally the first one in and last out of the library sometimes! It's kind of coming up to a scary time in my life where I won't be a student any longer and I'll be thrust into the real world... so I definitely need to learn to appreciate this time I have now. I'm planning on sharing a little more along these lines about graduating and the future in a blog post real soon so look out for that.
But for today, I wanted to share with you a couple of items I picked up in the post-Christmas sales. Normally its my favourite time of year for going shopping and hunting down bargains, but for some reason, I wasn't even motivated to go shopping so much early this year and I have really been concentrating on clearing my wardrobe down a little without filling it with more and more pieces that I'll probably only wear once! That being said, one spontaneous afternoon, my friend Jade and I ended up browsing after a bite of lunch in Kensington and I stumbled across this gorgeous suede dress in Zara. Having seen a friend of mine with a suede jacket in almost the exact same colour, I was really drawn to the dress and.. you know when its just fate? By that I mean, it was the last one in the shop and it was in my size... and it was only £25! After Zara, I headed to Topshop, where I found this chevron striped high neck top. If you know me, I'm rarely seen without a roll neck or high neck or some kinda of neck top so I seriously couldn't resist this one! Plus I thought it would go perfectly with the suede dress!
