After a whole year out of uni, last week I returned to LCF start the final year of my degree. It's safe to say I'm already feeling the pressure of third year as we get stuck in with projects and dissertation preparation. Attending uni however has been eased a little by the excitement of shopping and getting a few new autumn/winter bits to add to my wardrobe. I think now all I'm missing is a new backpack for my uni supplies!
When ASOS got in touch recently and challenged me to create my 'first year re-run' outfit, I couldn't wait to delve into ASOS' Back To School Hub and style up some of their new season pieces. ASOS are one of my favourite brands EVERRR and their ranges are killin' it season after season! As I've wanted some suede over the knee boots for a good while now, I thought it was an excellent opportunity to choose a bad ass pair! I know they won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I have to say - I'm so in LOVE! I've worn them so much since they arrived at my door and they're a great way to wear dresses and skirts though to the winter without have to pull the dreaded black tights out from the drawer. Although I feel a little bit like Velma from Scooby Doo in this outfit, I'm kinda loving that look!
Throwing it back to first year, it just so happens I'm wearing the same leopard print coat! I do think my style has change a little bit, but the basics have stayed the same - I'm a sucker for a print and you're unlikely to catch me without a chunky heel! The Jeffrey Campbell Lita craze is well and truly over but maybe one day they will sneak out of their box and make a sneaky appearance back on my blog!
