Is it really April already? These past few months since I've returned from New York seem to have flown by and I can't quite believe the daffodils are blooming already. I'm back home this weekend to spend Easter catching up with my friends and family - most of whom I haven't seen since Christmas time. I wanted to share these photos which were taken a few days ago (yes you guessed it) in Holland Park.
Now that the season is transitioning, I'm finding the balance between winter and spring dressing. Some days the optimist in me tells says it's bare leg weather, but let's face it, most of the time I'm still wanting to cover up and stay warm! This sleeveless jacket is one of my favourite Spring picks to add a refreshing flare to an otherwise dull grey and black outfit. I picked up this jacket when browsing in Bershka last week and surprisingly have worn it so much since. Thrown over my favourite jeans and high neck top plus accessorised with my new statement ring from Jewel Street, it can take an outfit from simple to stylish in seconds.
If you've been following my blog a while, you may know that its taken me a few years before introducing a pair of jeans into my wardrobe, but I've never looked back since. Its crazy that when trying to style a look with black jeans... I actually felt like I had nothing to wear with them. I guess my mind (and my wardrobe) works very differently! Here, I'm wearing the new Black Highwaisted Lily Jeans by Oasis which I can't recommend enough. Having worked in store for Oasis in the past, as you may know, I'm a really big fan of the brand and are my store go-to for jeans. The Lily jeans certainly do not disappoint and have a super comfortable body-sculpting skinny fit, with a high rise and ankle grazing finish.
