Its about time I shared a few snaps showing what I got upto last weekend at London Fashion Week! Having missed last season at LFW due to living in New York (can't complain too much), I was really excited for this season to come around!
On Saturday, I turned up to Somerset House in the same jacket as my friend and fellow fashion blogger Sarah Blake. We had a good laugh about it and made it look like we planned it! We had a fabulous day running around London attending shows and parties in the evening and even met the editor of Refinery 29!
Sunday was all about the Seventies.. and we actually did plan this one! Myself, Sarah and Eimear raided our wardrobes for our best '70s style get up, a trend which is so hot for the upcoming SS season. I styled my outfit with some old bits and some new pieces from my overflowing wardrobe and I really love how the look turned out! I love how our outfits looked together to create a mis-matched look emulating our personal style. We had a fabulous day with lots of laugher, running around trying to avoid the rain, finished off with coffee and cake at the Tate Britain!
Even though LFW is a hectic time with painful toes from running around the city and exhaustion from the crazy long days, I wouldn't miss it for the world. Being at Somerset House and seeing the street style is so inspiring and its great to see so many people turn out with a shared love of fashion. I was lucky enough to attend a few shows again this year including Ong-Oaj Pairam, Judy Wu & Gyunel, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed!
Bring on next season!
