Beauty Favourites #3

EOS Lip Balm Sphere in Strawberry
I might have a minor obsession with this little sphere of strawberry goodness! I'll be honest when I say the lip balm itself is not extraordinary, its a pretty basic balm but the addiction comes with the novelty shape of the product and the fun I seem to have when applying it. Admittedly, I neglect my lips and don't tend to moisturise very often at all, leading to dry skin and (out of bad habit) biting my lips a lot. The EOS lip balm has played a big part in changing my lip habits! Plus, it comes in lots of yummy flavours - strawberry is my pick! In the UK, these balms are sold at Selfridges, Topshop and Urban Outfitters and retail around £6, so I'd definitely recommend picking one up!

Zoeva Buffer Brush (#104)
It is strange to think about my make-up routine before this buffing brush came into my life. Is it sad to say, I don't know what I'd do without it? YES. This buffing brush has really revolutionised my beauty routine and has changed the way I apply foundation. The Zoeva #104 is a make-up tool that blends beautifully and really does make applying a base very simple and easy.

Superdrug Strawberry & Raspberry Shower Gel
My best friend Beth recently came to visit me here in NYC and left me with this shower gel that she didn't want to take home. I've been using this back home on and off for the last few years and seriously can't get enough of the scent. The fruity berries make showering glorious, plus its super cheap too! They range is really similar to Original Source products, but at half the price. I've also tried the Lemon and Mint ones, which are almost as lovely as the Strawberry & Raspberry!

Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation
I recently bought the full-size version of this BB cream after receiving a small sample size from the Missguided blogger event back in July. I find this product gives great full coverage that is long-lasting, easy to apply and with a flawless matte finish - not to mention is super affordable! The oil-free formula works excellently on my combination skin when blended with my Zoeva Buffer Brush. For my base, I'm currently switching between this product and the YSL Fusion Ink Foundation which I reviewed here.

Simple Eye Make-Up Remover
I recently had a bad experience when switching to drugstore own-brand eye make-up remover, which made me appreciate this product even more. Unlike some other alternatives, the Simple eye make-up remover doesn't sting the eyes and is really gentle, leaving my eyes fresh and mascara free. Its a very basic product to be included in my favourites, but nonetheless, one I could not live without!
