So it's back to reality for me this past week. Having had a lovely break over the festive period, settling back in at university (and learning to write the year 2014) has been a struggling routine alongside getting back into the swing of London life. Although I love it, my life in London is so different to my life back home in Yorkshire. This city is so fast-paced, which I find really motivating and I find myself making constant to-do lists and power-walking everywhere I go. It was nice to take some time out of my schedule to go for a wander in Regent's Park one sunny afternoon in my favourite new outfit from Oasis.
The main thing I love about Oasis, is that not many people my age shop there. Working in store part-time means I see the clothes in a different way and makes it difficult for me not to make a cheeky purchase from time to time. The first of which I'm going to fully justify… The leopard print coat. A self-confessed print obsessive (see such looks as the Tapestry coat), I have little restrain when finding a pattern that has me at helloo - pardon the pun. I had been debating whether to buy this beauty when it was full price (£110), although did I really need ANOTHER coat? Following the Christmas sales however, I spotted this very coat at a mere £40 (even less with my staff discount!) in my size on the rail and my mind was made up. Sorry, not sorry.
I've also been loving this blue leather pencil skirt lately. I think the dark blue leather makes it a little different from the usual leather skirts and the zips add a edgy point of interest. I'll be wearing this with crop tops and oversized sunglasses before long… hurry up Spring!
