paradise print

floral shirt, eBay but Topshop
black leggings, Primark
belt, New Look
boots, Jeffrey Campbell Litas
mustard satchel, Primark
owl ring, gift
moustache and spike rings, Topshop

I've literally wanted this floral shirt forever. Its known as the paradise print shirt. Well, ever since I saw it in the 'last chance to buy' section at Topshop and stupidly didn't purchase. I used to search it on eBay like every week and now I've finally bagged it. Its a bit colourful (for me) but I still adore it. I wish it was a little longer so I could wear it as a dress, but what can you do.
I'm still in search of my perfect leather jacket. My demand consists of a studded biker-style number, but I'm yet to discover my perfect one. I own a aviator jacket which recently came back out of the closet for autumn but sometimes one leather jacket just is not enough to fulfil my leather obsession. Also, I need some leather trousers.
I'm going to see Jessie J this weekend which should be lovely. I've seen her before at V Fest and she was pretty impressive!

the studded collar

red aran knit jumper, eBay
studded shirt with DIY studs, charity shop
navy skirt, Topshop
belt, Topshop
spotty tights, Primark
bag, vintage
nails, all Barry M

Studs are my favourite. I don't know what it is that attracts me, maybe that fact that they remind me of rebelling. But this outfit isn't exactly the 'bad girl' look studs usually portray. I like dressing preppy and I've been trying to figure out what to wear this jumper with for a couple of months now. Its such a vibrant red so I decided to keep the rest of the outfit fairly subdued. I'm not a fan of winter dressing but maybe that will change this year. Plus, shocker I'm wearing spotty tights... again!
I had a look round Manchester Metropolitan University on Wedneday, anyone else attend? I was very impressed with both the International Fashion Marketing course and the Fashion Buying and Merchandising! I'm so excited to go to uni, but in a way I love where I am now... and kinda don't want this year to end.
Haven't got much going on over half term other than work and school work. I'm going to see Jessie J in Leeds next weekend though and it'd be rude not to do a spot of shopping.
Hello to my lovely new followers and thankyou for all your comments!

dance in the wind

leopard print cross tee, Urban Outfitters
purple skirt, ARK
boots, Jeffrey Campbell Lita
mustard satchel, Primark
sunglasses, Primark
nails, all Barry M

This outfit is more of a mismatch of my favourite pieces at the moment. I bought the t-shirt (which I've wanted forever) from my first ever trip to Urban Outfitters! Loved it. The skirt (mixi? madi? fishtail?) is a litte something I wore to a party last week. I love how the sheer material dances in the wind. And... my beloved Jeff Campbells. So comfy btw!
I love having Friday week A off college. Its my catch up day and I love to crack on with work and have a chance to blog! Its been such a lovely day today, I mean... I'm wearing sunglasses in October!
Another week down, everything is going so fast nowadays, can't take it! I'm going to another university open day next week in Manchester which I'm excited about. I love going to big cities!
Having a few drinks with my girls tonight, it'll be nice to have a catch up! Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

burnt orange

studded denim jacket, Primark
black vest, f&f @ Tesco
burnt orange paperbag maxi skirt, Primark
belt, Primark
heeled sandals, Primark
floppy hat, Primark
necklace, eBay
bag, vintage
moustache ring, Topshop
nail colours, all Barry M

I've been meaning to post all week, but i knew my camera and tripod would die in the gail force winds we've been expieriencing! This outfit is a little something I wore my dinner with my best friend. I've really embraced the maxi trend this year and I'm loving it. This burnt orange colour is so autumnal and I love the colour contrast with the denim jacket. I purchased this huge floppy hat a few week ago from Primark and I love the 70s vibe it gives to any outfit! I wish I'd bought one before summer because I'm not sure I'll need it in the next few months. Dya like my moustache ring? I love it, so quirky!
The strap broke on my vintage bag (my mum's from the 80s) a few days ago. I was heart broken. But my mum managed to stitch it back up and its good as new!
I had an incredible day last weekend visiting London. For those of you who follow me on Twitter you'll have seen how excited I was. I looked round London College of Fashion (WOW!) and went shopping on Oxford Street. It was my first trip to the centre of London and I went on my own, felt so independent! I shouldn't have my heart set on the university but it was so perfect for me! It'll be sooooo difficult to get accepted though!
You can't really see very well from the photos but I've done some more aztec nails. Its so easy to do. I just used different pastel base colours and a black nail pen to create the look. What do you think?
Also my Jeffrey Campbell Lita's arrived a few days ago! Words cannot explain my excitement. I wore them to a party last night and they were so comfy!
