Autumn Daze

Tile print shift dress, c/o New Look
Fur stole, Topshop
Patent cutout boots, c/o SheLikes

My blog posts seem a little few and far between lately as my uni deadlines are creeping up and my life is filled with busyness everyday! I managed to take some time out of my schedule to take some shots in Holland Park this week and what a delight it was! I have so much love for autumn scenery and the colours at this time of the year, so beautiful! Although I've lived in London over a year now, I feel so at home in the countryside spots like Holland Park and it reminds me somewhat of the rolling hills and greenery of my hometown in North Yorkshire. Country gal at heart!
I'm lucky enough to be partnering with New Look for the next couple of posts on my blog and chose this tile print dress for my first look. Its a pattern and its a shift dress - so of course I had to get it. Its such an easy-to-wear option and the colours and style are perfect for the fall. Be certain to check out the rest of the collection of New Look day dresses.
You might be happy to see some new footwear gracing my blog this week - I certainly am! As much as I adore my H&M boots (see: almost every single outfit post this year), its a joy to finally have some new shoesies! These patent croc effect beauties were sent to me courtesy of SheLikes.com and they have an amazing array of on-trend boots so make sure to have a peek!
Hope you've all had a fab week! You can follow me on Twitter HERE!

Fringed Kimono

Fringed kimono, Topshop
Cross necklace, Primark
Tights, Primark
Watch, The Watch Hut
Eye ring, Topshop
Nails, Primark

I admit to the fact I had a slight kimono obsession over the summer this year. It first started with the patterned monochrome one, then the turquoise beauty (both of which I still wear on a daily basis). But now its time to introduce my velvet fringed kimono from Topshop. I actually bought this one a fair few months ago and I've worn it LOADS, I'm suprised it has taken me so long to blog about it! As the kimono is such a statement piece, I've paired it with a simple black cami and leather skirt. I find kimonos so easy to wear as they are a great piece to throw over a basic outfit.
I was recently sent this lovely tote bag from Great Plains. After carrying the same large H&M bag around for what feels like forever, its a welcome change to have a nice compact little bag - plus I love the crocodile skin effect! The bag is great quality and its a fabulous size to fit in all my everyday essentials. Make sure to check out the Great Plains website for more!
P.S I took part in a little feature with Missguided for Cosmo on Campus magazine which is now available at universities across the country - make sure to grab a copy!
