channeling change

I'm back in North Yorkshire for the Christmas holidays and heading back to London next week. This meant I had to cope taking outfit photos without my friend Josh (not easy). After a failed attempt using the whole timer and tripod method, I got my sister to take some snaps for me!
Its so strange being back at home - feels a bit surreal. Although I'm loving seeing friends and family, I'm definitely missing the buzz of the city life - and my flatmates! I've had a lovely week of catching up with my best friends and going for quiet walks in the countryside near my home town of Whitby. Christmas is quickly approaching, but it seems less exciting now I'm another year older. The thought of shopping in the sales appeals to me a little more than Christmas itself - but I'm sure it'll be lovely to spend time with my family.
This has become my go-to outfit lately. It is kinda a thrown together mis-match of my favourite winter wardrobe staples. The beanie is something I tend to throw on most days - the perfect cover-up to a bad hair day. I've had this leopard print fur coat a couple of years now, but it is still a favourite and it keeps me warm on the cold winter days!
Thanks to everyone who has continued to support my blog - hope you all have a lovely Christmas!

city vibe (+ giveaway!)

cream knitted jumper, Topshop (via eBay)
black tights, Primark
nails, Barry M in Indigo and gems via eBay

Photos by Josh Gooding

This cream jumper is becoming my go-to for winter - I can't get enough. It is perect for the cold city days, which I've been spending shopping and drinking coffee, not to mention working. This outfit is something I threw together when shooting for my blog by St. Paul's Cathedral yesterday. It is an area I've never been to before but I love the city vibe and beautiful architecture of the historic place. I'm tending to stick to black, cream and grey hues for dressing this time of year but I do like to add a splash of green and burgundy to my outfits.
(please note I've moved my giveaway onto my following post but all entries will still count - best of luck!)
Best of luck! Remeber to follow me on Twitter and Instagram for updates.

December in Holland Park

cream knitted jumper, Topshop (via eBay)
block wood wedges, New Look (via eBay)
cross necklace, eBay
black tights, Primark
nails, Topshop Nails in Green Room

I seriously can't believe it is December already, feels like only yesterday that I moved to London - but its actually been 3 months. As the weather gets colder, I've started to bring out my jumpers like this cosy knit from eBay. I think I got this one like two years ago for a fraction of the original selling price. Its the kind of jumper that never goes out of style too. Its meant to be worn as an oversized jumper with leggings, but I've used a belt underneath to create a cropped style.
What do you think of my new satchel? I think its very me! I was recently sent it by the lovely ladies at Chicnova and I've worn it pretty much everyday since. Look out for a Chicnova giveaway which I'll be hosting soon!
I've got my final presentation at uni tomorrow (wish me luck!) and then I'm done for the first term! I'm really excited to go home to North Yorkshire in a couple of weeks and see all my friends and family. Expect another change of scenery in my blog posts!
