This outfit is very much inspired by Gabriella Wilde's carefree summer style in the movie Endless Love. If you haven't seen it already, it a great watch - and she's such a beauty! This Oasis dress is something I've worn a lot of since I bought it a couple of months ago and it can be very versatile for dressing up or dressing down. Thrown on with a check shirt and a half-up do, it gives the dress a really effortless vibe.

I'm on a well deserved break from city life back in Whitby, North Yorkshire this week. I genuinely feel like I'm on holiday right now and have been having a great time catching up with friends in the hot weather. This tropical co-ord combo from Missguided are pieces I have been loving this July. I'm a sucker for a palm print and the shades of blue and green are firm favourites - so much so that I matched my nails! Missguided have some fab tropical inspired pieces to get you through the summer so make sure to check out their website.

I've been very lucky to receive a lovely gift from the team at Marc by Marc Jacobs this week. Say helloo to my new rose gold cuff bracelet which is a very welcome addition to my wrist candy collection. I was really drawn to the simplicity of the bracelet along with the rose gold shade which I'm sure we'll see reappearing on my wrist for many months to come!

I could not finish the blog post without mentioning the SHOES. Hope you're all as in love with them as I am! (Madly)

Silky, daisy print and bell sleeves, what more could I want in a playsuit? I've worn this '70s style number a fair few times since purchasing from Topshop (last chance to buy section!) a couple of months back. I adore the shape, the V back detail and I think it works well daytime or for a night out.
As this photos were being taken, the skies decides to open and it poured down with rain. Being a self-confessed 'optimistic dresser' I failed to have a coat or an umbrella and was left soaked. I guess I'll be better prepared for the true British Summer next time!

Although smarter and perhaps more glamorous that my typical outfit choices, this marble print dress from Oasis is a firm wardrobe favourite at the moment. The print is really different and I'm enjoying the shades of lilac, grey and blue for the warm weather. 

Today is my second day off in 3 weeks (I know). I really do overwork myself sometimes and try to cram so much into my days. I'm currently enduring the stress of visa applications and trying to organise everything before I leave for New York next month. Things are moving really quickly and its hard to believe its July already and how different my life will be over the coming months.

I've got a whole lot of love for this white midi dress for M&S. Not usually a retailer that is among my high street favourites, Marks & Spencer have seriously stepped up their style game lately and having visited their AW14 Press Day recently, its safe to say I'm very impressed. With white being one of my favourite trends of the summer, this dress certainly hits the bill. I adore the flattering midi length, lightweight material and of course the cute metallic spots. The dress matches perfectly with my new metallic strap sandals from Oasis. Look at me go in a low heel!

I'm likely to be wearing this dress lots over the coming weeks with plans already to wear it on days out with my family and to York races with my friends - can't wait.

If you haven't heard already.... I've got a really exciting announcement...

I'm moving to New York City in August to study at LIM College for 5 months! This is part of my placement year on my degree at London College of Fashion. I've known for a good while now but wanted to keep it quiet until everything was finalised! I booked my flights this morning and had my acceptance letter a few days ago. ITS REALLY HAPPENING! Who's excited for my outfit posts in Central Park? I know I am!
