Just wanted to post a little update of my time at London Fashion Week! I was lucky enough to attend a few catwalk shows during the event (including Lug Von Siga and Emilio De La Morena) which I throughly enjoyed! I also had the opportunity to meet some of my favourite bloggers and a few celebrities - who were all so lovely.
LFW is such a fantastic event and I feel so privileged living in London that I am able to experience it first hand! From the classic to the outrageous fashion, everybody at Somerset house has an interesting story and its a great place to hang out and people watch between shows.
I'm having another busy week with little time between university and my internship at Dior Head Office - but hopefully I'll be back with outfit posts again soon!

The Barcelona sunshine

Navy knitted jumper, Stradivarius (Barcelona)
Cream pleated skirt, Stradivarius (Barcelona)
Aztec bag, Vintage
Tan strap watch, Urban Outfitters
Amber ring, My Grandma's
Nails, Barry M in Blue Moon

Last week, I was lucky enough to spend a few days in the beautiful city of Barcelona with my friends from university. The weather was perfect and the city was stunning - so much culture! It was my first trip to Barca and I had a wonderful time exploring the sights, walking along the beach and doing a spot of shopping. Which leads me nicely into my outfit, which I bought while I was visiting the city.
I was instantly drawn to the girly pleats of this skirt (which I also bought in black!) and the laser cut detailing. It is one of those items that I looked at and thought... that is so 'me'! Although I should probably stay away from pleated skirts as I think I already own one in every single shade! The navy jumper is also something I bought in Barcelona from a shop called Stradivarius (which we don't have in the UK unfortunately). I really like the cream a navy shades together and I can definitely see myself getting a lot of wear out of this jumper.
I've had a crazily busy week and barely had anytime to breathe since returning from my trip to Barcelona - hence taking so long to upload these photos! I'm blogging from my beautiful new MacBook Air which I treated myself to last week. I've been at London Fashion Week and working all weekend, but I'll share photos from LFW soon enough.
In the mean time, follow me on Twitter and Instagram!

Chelsea Girl

Black coated jeans, Oasis
Tie dye top, Oasis
Boyfriend tweed coat, Topshop
Burgundy trilby hat, H&M
Colour block satchel, c/o Chicnova
Heeled boots, H&M
Necklace, Primark

I just wanted to share a few snaps taken this week in Chelsea. I absolutely adore wandering around this area of London and its my dream to live in an apartment with an SW postcode! One day, Monica, one day.
I hope you are not tired of seeing this coat, and bag, and boots, on my blog. I do tend to stick to my staple pieces when creating an outfit, but hopefully seeing the same items gives you and idea of how different outfits can be put together by reusing the same pieces.
Shocker - I'm wearing jeans! Trousers are something I barely ever wear as they are so out of my comfort zone when it comes to fashion. I literally haven't worn jeans in months, if not years! I picked up this black coated pair from Oasis, which I actually quite like when rolled up and worn with chunky heels. You never know, you might catch me wearing jeans more often - (almost) converted!
I'm heading off to Barcelona tomorrow morning and hopefully I'll be able to take some outfit photos while I'm over there. Super excited to see the city.

First of all, sorry for a very photo-heavy post! Josh and I did a bit of exploring and took photos by Trafalgur Square, St.James Park and Buckingham Palace, all in my gap between university and work earlier in the week. Although most of the parks are usually fairly dreary and bare this time of year, we managed to find some nice spots on our wander. We found a cute little playground and took some shot on the swings - I was very much loving being a kid again. I really am just so happy at the moment, I love life in London.
I'm jetting off to Barcelona next Monday for a trip with university, which I'm super excited about! I haven't visited the city before, have you got any recommendations of places to visit?
As for the outfit, I'm wearing a grey tank and leather look skirt from Boohoo. I've bought items from the website before and not been 100% happy, but on this occasion, I'm loving my purchase. I believe this is the sixth leather skirt in my collection, ooops. Once again, this week these H&M boots have not left my feet... LOVE THEM.
I was lucky enough to attend an event held by Littlewoods to launch Lydia Bright's collection last week and I've shared a couple of snaps (below)! It was so lovely to meet all the other lovely bloggers including EllaMichelle and Aisling. Lydia herself was so lovely and I was very impressed with her designs, make sure to have a look here!
Hope you've all had a great week. Remember to follow me on Twitter (@helloomonica) and on Instagram (@monicabarleycorn).
