The smock dress is one of my favourite shapes and as soon as I saw this dress on the Mod Dolly website, I knew it had to be mine. Theres something about the print and the mix of my favourite colours that drew me in. I feel so dreamy and girly when I wear it too! I've been on the hunt for a denim skirt for a good while. My requirements were light to mid-wish, high-waisted, vintage-style and not too long but not too short... Not too much to ask right? After trawling through ebay and vintage shops for my perfect denim skirt without any luck, I took to see what the high street had to offer. Luckily, I came across the perfect one in American Apparel and although I'm not particularly a fan of the brand (or the price tag - £48) it was just too good for me to resist. Once the summer weather picks up, I'll be sporting my denim skirt with white crop tops and an oversized checkered shirt.

The team at New Look got in touch recently and asked if I'd like to take part in their Throwback Dress campaign. My throwback dress is pictured below - an adorable floral tea dress which I bought off Ebay. Its a dress that I absolutely love and I could never part with. New Look asked me to choose a dress from their current selection that could be my future 'throwback dress'. I chose this gorgeous tribal print dress that reminds me of festivals and makes me excited for the summer. I'm really into ethnic prints at the moment and think the dress is a classic summer piece. I've paired it with my trusty denim jacket and fringed bag, for an easy go-to relaxed look.
