navy midi

Life's pretty hectic these days and I barely have any free time between university, interning and working part-time. These shots were taken last week when wandering around Brick Lane and the Shoreditch area of London between a lecture and heading to work! I don't really know what I was thinking pairing my midi dress with bare legs in Janurary - I was freeeeezing cold! This midi is something I picked up from Primark in late December for only £10. I've been wearing it quite a lot over the course of January as I love experimenting with new lengths and I really like the deep blue shade. I can't rave about my new H&M boots enough - I literally have worn them everyday since I bought them. I'm a sucker for a chunky heel and these offer a dressed up, yet grungy element to any outfit.

The eagle has landed

Embellished oversized eagle t-shirt, Avion En Papier (Topshop Concessions)
Leopard print fur coat, Internacionale
Tights, Primark

London, like the rest of the country, has been hit by the snow over the past few days. If I was at home in North Yorkshire I'd probably be loving the snow and going sledging at every opportunity. However, fields and hills are few and far between in the city, and the snow becomes a bit of an inconvenience. Contrary to that statement, I have been loving wandering through London's parks and watching the snow fall so beautifully! It also provided a gorgeous wintery backdrop for this week's outfit post.
This oversized t-shirt/dress is something I bought just before Christmas from a concession at Topshop Oxford Circus called Avion En Papier. The trouble with working and going to university on Oxford Street is that I often find myself in Topshop, buying things I really shouldn't! This item was a bit of a splurge for me at £65 but it was one of those things I'd tried on before and completely regretted not purchasing (that's my justification okay). I really like the cutout detailing and the embellishments, as well as the rock vibes the outfit gives. Another recent purchase are my H&M boots which I've worn pretty much everyday since buying! They are the perfect medium between day boots and going-out heels - I've worn them as both!
I've got some exciting news to share with you all. This coming Wednesday I'll be starting an internship at Dior Head Office! I'm super excited to be getting experience in the industry as well as studying fashion.

Hope you all have a lovely week!

Hello! First of all, sorry for the hiatus. I've had trouble squeezing in blogging amongst my busy schedule with university and work. I've been back in London since late December but blogging seems to have taken a backseat, hopefully I'm getting back into the swing of things! These photos were taken on my first trip to Regent's Park, which is such a stunning location in central London.
About the outfit, I picked up this skirt in the River Island Sale for a measy £7! Although it is a size too big, a safety pin does the trick. There is a matching blazer which I was hoping to get too - but its all sold out! As for the sales, I wasn't too impressed in all honesty and this skirt was one of the only things I bought. I guess I had high expectations, as I usually get more excited for the sales than Christmas itself. Since I discovered the fur on my Topshop boyfriend coat was detachable, I've been wearing it a lot over my leather jacket lately. I think the fur makes the jacket look like a whole new one, plus it keeps me warm through the winter.
