speckle tee

grey speckle tee, Primark
pleated dip hem skirt, vintage
tan leather backpack, Primark
patent chelsea boots, my mum's
cross necklace, eBay
sunglasses, H&M
nails, Barry M in Mint Green

I love this t-shirt from Primark. I know its really simple and doesn't have much to it, but that is my favourite thing about it. It makes it more versatile. I bought this skirt from a vintage shop in York a few months ago. I think its very typically 'me'.
I've had busy few weeks, I've barely had a day off as I'm working day and night. Feeling a little out of sync with the blogging world at the moment. The countdown continues, I move to London in 12 days! I'm going down on Friday for the day as I've got a job interview - fingers crossed it goes well.
Keep changing my font on my blog. Hmm this one is averagely nice.

midsummer dream

white dress with floral embroidery, eBay
tan belt, Zara
tan leather backpack, Primark
tan heeled sandals, Primark
tan strao watch, New Look
rings, Topshop/gifts
sunglasses, H&M
nails, Barry M in Pure Turquoise

My latest obsession is white dresses. This is one of two LWDs (the other I shall be showing you soon), I bought on eBay. This little number is by a brand called Pretty Vacant. I've styled it with my tan leather backpack and a tan belt. Once again, subconscious accessorizing! I think white dresses are perfect for summer and wandering the paths between fields feels a little magical. Like a midsummer dream.
I received my A Level results a few days ago and achieved three Bs, in Mathematics, Economics & Business and English Language as well as a Distinction Star in BTEC Business. I'm so happy! :) My results confirm my place at London College of Fashion... I move away in less than three weeks!

berry beauty

black dress with crochet cutout, eBay
tan sandals, Primark
tan strap watch, New Look
berry ostrich satchel, Primark
nails, Barry M in Pure Turquoise
bracelets, market stalls

I wanted to keep this outfit fairly simple to showcase my new favourite purchase - my red satchel - from Primark! And possibly the best part... it was only £9. My friend Georgie actually bought the bag before me and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have one. The berry shade is a must-have for AW12 and this little beauty reminds me very much of the coveted Mulberry Bayswater bag. No doubt I'll be carrying it around for the rest of the year! Considering I'm not usually much of a 'bag person', that was a passionate paragraph...
These photos were took a couple of days ago when the sun was shining and I was loving the summertime. But currently in North-East England, it appears more like January than August - rain and gloom. A night of watching Pretty Little Liars and browsing eBay is most likely ahead.
Tomorrow is A Level results day - ahh! It feels like an eternity since I took my exams and I've gone past the point of anxiousness into desperate impatience. Good luck to everyone else receiving results!

rock revolution

leather-look bralet (with DIY studs), eBay
white lace skirt, eBay
black belt, New Look
burgundy hat, H&M
necklace, Romwe
round sunglasses, H&M
black socks, Primark
aztec bag, vintage
black suede creepers, eBay

This leather look bralet has become such a staple piece for me over the summer. I'm not even ashamed to say I've frequently repeated it on nights out - its so versatile and goes perfectly with all my skirts and shorts! I bought a load of  large studs  a few months back on eBay and got a little DIY happy on this baby! I like how it jazzes the outfit up a little and gives off rock vibes.
Although I'm meant to be saving money, I went shopping this week and got a few new things which I'm sure I'll be sharing on here soon enough!

youth spirit

maxi dress, vintage
heeled sandals, Primark
tan leather backpack, Primark
burgundy hat, H&M
belt, Zara
sunglasses, H&M
tan strap watch, New Look

I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to feature this maxi dress on my blog. I bought it over a year ago from a vintage fair in my local town for the small price of £15 - which I thought was pretty decent! I originally planned to do a little DIY on it and make it into a mini dress but it seemed such a shame to destroy the original 1970's garment. I think the design is quite unusual and the showcase of palm trees and boats reminds me of  the long summer nights that I spent wearing this dress last year. The rowing boats are perhaps quite fitting when considering the Olympic glory Great Britain has experienced in London 2012 - addicted.
I didn't realise it at the time but I've gone for all tan accessories with the dress - bag, shoes, watch and belt! Subconscious accessorising!
I seriously cannot believe it's August already. Next month is a month of huge change for me.. I'm moving to London, starting university and turning 19! I suddenly  feel all grown up..
