jack daniels & diet coke

Levi's denim jacket, vintage
Jack Daniels tee, bought on holiday
leopard print pleated skirt, eBay
leopard print belt, Dorothy Perkins
socks, Primark
black suede creepers, eBay
tan leather backpack, Primark
nails, Barry M in Mint Green

This outfit is a little something I wore when shopping at a vintage fair at the weekend. Although I didn't find any clothes I liked, I picked up a gorgeous musical jewellery box from the '50s. It's so perfect and I've already stacked it high with my large collection of rings. It was a pleasure to have multiple compliments on my denim jacket which I believe is complemented very well by the tan leather backpack. The Jack Daniels t-shirt is an €9 bargain which I accumulated from a cheap t-shirt shop in Magaluf - its all good. I also saw a fake Moschino belt which I fully regret not purchasing.

icecream tones

mint jumper, Internacionale
nude blouse, Republic
cream lace skirt, eBay
black chelsea boots, eBay
skull/stud necklace, Romwe
black socks, Primark
aztec bag, vintage

Those of my readers who follow me on Instagram (monicabarleycorn) may have seen this outfit before as I wore it to Wimbledon last month. I love this jumper and I've been wearing it so much over the spring and summer. The colour is divine and its actually a very versatile item which I wear with skirts/short/leggings. It's likely that my winter wardrobe will be full of similar styles - forgive me for mentioning the thought of winter right now! There's something about how the nude, mint and cream tones compliment each other that I really love for the summertime. I'm suprised I haven't featured these chelsea boots more frequently on my blog as I literally wear them all the time. I skimp a little on shoes, I have my basic and original pairs that I tend to stick to.
Late apologies for my absence over the last week in the blogosphere, I've been to busy having the BEST WEEK OF MY LIFE in Magaluf. We all had so much fun! We went to see Avicii, Example and Calvin Harris (I drank from his water!!!!), went parasailing, to a waterpark, sunbathed lots and partied hard. We're already planning our next girl's holiday!
Hope you've had a lovely week so far, I'm at work lots over the weekend and maybe going to play tennis tonight. The last snap is of my little sister and myself who probably would love it I publicly thanked her for helping me with photos today. Love ya Lindsey x

peach splash

grey batman tee, Topshop
peach shorts, Urban Outfitters
black leather jacket, H&M
tan belt, Primark
tan backpack, Primark
black tights, Primark
creepers, eBay
necklace, Romwe
tan strap watch, New Look
nails, various colour by Barry M

This is probably my favourite outfit at the moment. I got these shorts when I was in London last month from Urban Outfitters on Oxford Street. I've been wanting some peach Levi's ever since I saw Ivy on 90210 (Gillian Zinser - my ultimate style icon) wearing some, about 2 years ago. I've paired these with one of my favourite cropped tees, tan backpack and creepers.
I'm going on holiday with 8 of my best friends to Magaluf on Wednesday for a week. I'm super excited to party hard and get a tan, it'll be such a laugh. Can't wait!
Hope you've had a lovely week!

I feel as if a lot has happened since I last posted. I've been very busy and the last week or so seems to be a bit of a blur.
I've been down to London again to watch Wimbledon, which is one of the most incredible experiences ever, may I add. I guess not many people know, but I've been playing tennis since I was under 5 and its a sport that I truly love and am very passionate about. I've had the opportunity to represent my county and my district on numerous occasions so it was truly a fantastic day watching matches last week. My sister and I only had tickets originally for Court No.1 but two lovely ladies came up to us and asked if we would like their tickets for Centre Court!!!! We couldn't believe it. We saw Venus and Serena Williams, Laura Robson, Patrick McEnroe and the Brian brother play. Now that Wimbledon is over I feel a little lost as what to do with my time. Yesterday's match was monumental and I never use to be a massive Andy Murray fan until I saw him cry over his loss. Love you Andz. xox But I'm a huge fan of Federer and I believe Andy Murray could not have lost to a more worthy champion.
Moving on from my in-depth and passionate waffle about tennis, this is meant to be a fashion blog right? The skirt is very 'me' imo, I bought it from Primark last week in the wrong size and ended up queuing for about half an hour on Oxford Street for one that fit me. But you know what? I'm glad I did.  I've become a little obsessed with jewellery lately and I adore my new necklace from Romwe. Skulls and spikes, what more does a girl need?
My favourite place to take blog photos has to be the bridge I'm pictured on above. Its scenic, quiet and I like the lighting. However I've planned to go there a few times over the past few weeks only to find it inhabited by cows - see here! Its a glamorous life!
