HYPE ON LOOKBOOK

First of all, all my exams are over - until May/June. So my time has been 100% taken up with revision lately, so I haven't had the chance to blog. I thought I'd get back into the swing of things and snap a few photos in this outfit, which I've been wearing this week. I never used to be the type of girl to wear a maxi but now its something I feel confident in. This one is my Mum's. Its actually a size 14, but with a skinny belt, I reckon I can pull it off?
I was featured on Company Magazine's website last week which is pretty cool. Check out my Week In Style here!
I'm super excited for the coming week. I've got an interview at the University of Westminster on Wednesday and LONDON COLLEGE OF FASHION INTERVIEW on Friday. Words cannot describe my anticipation. I cam't wait to go down to LDN for the week and report back from my trip!
Also, I wanted to call this look 'simplicity' but I was browsing on lookbook and one of the leader's top looks was called that. Oh snap. This resorted my to going on dictionary dot come and searching for 'simplicity' where I found the phrase 'freedom from complexity'. So much better right?
Also, spot the tripod? Ha

HYPE on Lookbook

Just thought I'd share a few snaps of my new black fur coat, kindly sent to me by AX Paris. I love the texture and its so cosy - perfect for the winter months! I bought this skirt a few months ago from H&M, I also own the same on in black. Not a massive fan of bodycon in general, but its a leather skirt so I had to have it!

mustard lately

mustard blouse, Dorothy Perkins
burgundy pleated skirt, ARK
leather aviator jacket, H&M
belt, Dorothy Perkins
black tights, Primark
leopard print wedges, ASOS
aztec bag, vintage (gift from Jodi)
watch, New Look (gift from Lindsey)
owl ring, (gift from Jodi)
eye ring, Topshop
bat ring, (gift from Lindsey)
nails, Barry M in Pure Turquoise

My sister said this outfit was 'very predictable'. Probably because it shows the two colours I've been featuring a lot on my blog over AW - mustard and burgundy. I love the mustard ruffles of the blouse and the  burgundy pleats of the skirt plus mixing leopard print with these shades is win-win. My best friend Jodi bought me this bag from Christmas. Its the kind of thing I'd literally choose myself so I'm very impressed. My bag collection seems to have grown a lot lately!
I've got 4984353095 exams over the next few weeks so most of my free time will spent revising but I'll try to update as often as I can. Okay maybe I exaggerated a little, but I've got 8 exams.

Happy New Year! I've scribbled down a few resolutions I hope to keep this year. I really hope I can continue to blog and I hope to be more risk-taking with my fashion. Don't worry, I won't be too crazy...
I'm sorry for my absence from the blogging scene this past week. I've been quite busy with all of the commotion of Christmas/New Year and work. Plus the weather has made it difficult for me to take photos! Anyways, about the outfit. I spotted this top in a charity shop last month. Those charity shoppers amongst you will know the feeling you get when you discover something great! I knew I had to have it straight away and I've worn it loooads recently. I think the sparkly detailing is great for the holiday season plus I love finding things I know nobody else will own! My best friend Rose bought me my favourite nail varnish for Christmas - Barry M in Pure Turquoise, which appears to have been discontinued in stores! She knows how much it means to me! #materialistic . Sorry about the strange pout I seem to be rocking in some of these photos - don't know what I was doing haha.
I've teamed up with Goldie  - a great online store offering a great mix of indie and on-trend clothing. I particularly love this fishtail skirt. Make sure to check them out for an exclusive 15% discount! http://shopgoldie.com/
