I love to colour clash. I was going to post this outfit with my nude blouse but I thought I'd mix it up and go bold. I love the gold buttons and the bright colour - and how it doesn't really go with the skirt at all! But I think that its a good thing. The skirt is by A|Wear but being a top bargainer I got it off eBay for much cheaper. 

Hope all my readers have a lovely Christmas! I'm going for a Christmas meal with my best friends tonight and then just spending time with my family over the next few days, which should be lovely. To be honest, I'm more excited about going shopping in the sales than I am about Christmas itself!

Most of my clothing, I have to fight for. This blouse is a prime example. I won it on eBay last week after having a frantic bidding war with mostly likely another fashion-obsessed teenager.But I came out on top and I'm so glad. I adore the cut-out detailing - its very different. Haven't worn these darker denim shorts in a while but I think they're perfect for the winter season. 

I'm not sure how long my Mum has been hiding these boots but I found them a couple of months ago - brand new in a shoebox. They very much fit in with the chelsea boots craze of right now, except mine were free and not the Topshop ones that everyone in the world owns. Yay for originality.

I've got lots of exams in January so these three weeks off college are all about revision for me. Anyone taking A-Level Mathematics will understand how I feel right now :(

I guess I'm a little obsessed with studs right now. They're on my jumper, on my shoes and yesterday I bought a skirt that practically matches my jumper. I don't think I'll wear them together though! Another thing I'm really into right now - collars. Can't get enough. I love the way they look poking out of jumpers. Peter-pan collars are still everywhere this year. 

I've gotten really into wearing black lately. Its so great for winter. I always think blondes can pull of black so much better, but with my half and half ombre hair, I don't feel so dull! I also thought I'd feature a splash of red in today's outfit post... mainly to prevent myself from looking overly gothic! 

Got lots of Christmas shopping done yesterday so I've only got a few things left to buy! I'm well jealous of the present I've bought for my sister hope she likes it too. I've got a few parties and meals to look forward to over the coming weeks which should be lovely! 

I got an email yesterday saying I've got an interview at the University Of Westminster in the New Year!!!! Exciting prospects eeeee - can't wait to go down to London again!

There's something really special about winter mornings. When the only sound you can hear is the tweeting of birds and the morning sun is shining in your face, its pure bliss. Although I have to say it was freezing cold, I'm still happy and grateful for living in this part of the world. 

I bought this dress in summer and have worn it to a few meals and parties, don't judge me for being an outfit repeater. I adore the bright colour and the contrast with the pattern of autumn leaves. I've paired it with lots of black - leather, tights and Jeffrey Campbells. I'm really into wearing black in the winter, I guess its one of those mood kinda things.
