ruffled hemlines

nude pink maxi skirt, vintage
castaway cropped vest, Republic
belt, Primark
boots, Jeffrey Campbell Litas
nails, Barry M in Lemon

I've been pretty excited about this skirt every since I found it in my Mum's wardrobe. I even wore it to a wedding a few weeks ago. It used to be my Auntie's, worn for ballroom dancing and I've decided to claim it. I also have the exact same one in white. I wasn't keen on the structured ruffles at the bottom at first, but they've seriously grown on me. This skirt seriously just makes me want to run around like I'm in romantic film. I decided to ruffle up the hem-line at the front and tuck it under my belt to make it into a fish-tail skirt. Revamped from very '70s to very 2011.
I can't quite believe its December tomorrow. Time seriously flies.

leopard religion

leopard cross tee, Urban Outfitters
burgundy shorts, Miss Selfridge (my sister's)
black tights, Primark
lace-up boots, vintage
leopard print belt, Dorothy Perkins
sunglasses, Primark
hat, H&M
mustard satchel, Primark
nails, Barry M in Blue Moon

I stole this shorts off my younger sister, who claims to 'never read my blog', so she'll never know right?! I guess this is just another outfit showing my mustard and burgundy obsession, oh and the leopard print! If anyone follows me on twitter, you'll know I wear this boots almost everyday of my life. They're just so versatile!
I'm kinda boy-cotting shopping until after Christmas because I know how cheap everything will be. I'm obviously still buying gifts but it'll be more fun if I leave it for a while. Shopping on ebay and charity shopping doesn't count btw!
Not much going on at the moment, lots of studying as always. Got my UCAs application sent off so I'm SUPER excited at the possibility of recieving offers!

the winter wedges

leopard print coat, International
cream jumper, eBay but Topshop
leather shorts, River Island
spotty tights, Primark
wedges, eBay
bag, vintage
necklace, eBay

Obsessed with fur coats at the moment. I know they're not to everyone's taste, but they're so cosy. I really want a black fur coat too, stalking a few on ebay right now. And don't worry PETA, the fur is faux. Also, loving my winter sandals. They remind me of Jeffrey Campbell miracle wedges or Steve Maddens. And I'll stop wearing spotty tights soon I promise. I don't like being predictable.
If you follow me on Twitter you may already know but.. I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!! Super excited!

navajo november

nude blouse, Republic
aztec skirt, Urban Outfitters
spotty tights, Primark
cross necklace, eBay
bag, vintage
boots, Jeffrey Campbell Lita's

I wear this blouse way too much, like seriously don't know what I'd do without it, as pathetic as that sounds! Its a perfect piece for all season, a classic. I love the way it looks with my cross necklace too. Trying to continue this summer's aztec trend by bringing out the navajo print in November.
I'm enjoying shooting in this location, the autumn leaves are so beautiful - plus it wasn't even cold.
p.s - spot the tripod shadow!

spot of mustard

mustard cardigan, ARK
guns & roses tee, H&M
lilac lace skirt, Topshop
bowler hat, thrifted
spotty tights, Primark
red satchel, Romwe
belt, New Look
worker boots, eBay
nail colour, Barry M in Indigo
nail gems, eBay

I'm not sure what it is about mixing girly skirts with rock and roll t-shirts that I love. I think its the contrast of styles that tend to work so well together. I'm not much of a 't-shirt girl' but I think its refreshing to mix it up once in a while. My mum laughs at me whenever I wear my bowler hat. Apparently I look like a 1920's businessman (?!) I tell her 'that's the look I'm going for'!
I was tempted to commit last time I went to Primark and they didn't have any spotty tights... Please someone reassure me that they haven't been discontinued! Back to the outfit, I've had this bag a few months now, but only recently started using it, after realising how difficult it is to manage a small satchel with the amount of junk I carry around with me. However, red is less easy to match with my outfits than my tan satchels for example.
All my pictures seem so dull on this post, I'm sorry. Its so dark when I get home from college at this time of year so its difficult to find the time. Hopefully I can keep up the blogging over winter.
I had an attempt at galaxy nails using gems I bought off ebay. They're a bit messy but I think I like them this way.

the fall of colour

leather aviator jacket, H&M
berry lace dress, fashion frenzy boutique
spotty tights, Primark
leopard wedges, ASOS Ablaze Wedges
belt, Dorothy Perkins
owl necklace, Primark
mustard satchel, Primark

First of all, sorry for my absence from the blogging world from the past week or so, with the clocks going back and it being loads darker when I've got back from college, I've found it really difficult to find time to take photos and update! I thought I'd make some sort of comback today and show you all one of my favourite dresses. I've had it a few months now and I'm always wearing it, I'm suprised its been this long before its made an appearance. I paired it with the leather aviator jacket and leopard wedges plus the mustard satchel... which actually seems to match every outfit I wear!
I had a lovely time last weekend at Jessie J, thankyou for all your lovely well wishes. And this weekend, I'm going to a wedding which should be lovely.. especially since I've never been to one before! Crazy, in my 18 years and I've never been to one!
