burgundy sunset

mustard cardigan, ARK

burgundy spotty shorts, Topshop
burgundy hat, H&M
leopard print wedges, (birthday gift from my best friends!) ASOS
mustard satchel, Primark
burgundy socks, Topshop
leopard print belt, Primark
acorn necklace, Primark

This outfit is very much a mixture of my obsessions at the moment. Burgundy, mustard and leopard print. In my eyes, a perfect mix! I've these shorts a couple of months now and wore them when I went out for my birthday last weekend. To be honest, I wish they were a little longer, because I like to wear them high-waisted. But if its burgundy with polka dots, what can you do?! I orded this cardigan a few days ago off ARK and I was worried because its more of a bright yelllow colour rather than mustard on the website! But its fine in real life, I like it. And you may have noticed the beauties on my feet... YES! These are the wedges all my friends bought my for my birthday.. I cannot explain how much I love them!
Had such a lovely time taking photos this evening. The sun was setting and the weather was beaaautiful, making the countryside so desirable.
This is the first time I've bought anything from Topshop's make-up collection. This nail varnish totally jumped out at me, and I love seablues and greens. I'm usually a die-hard Barry M girl, but I think I'll be going back to Toppers for some more!
I orded some Jeffrey Campbells last week as a birthday present to myself (sad I know). I got some Lita's in black suede so they should be arriving and making an appearance on my blog soon enough.
Happy birthday to my gorgeous sister Lindsey! Its her sweet sixteenth today :)
Also, I should probably say this more often. Thankyou for all your darling comments and for following my blog. It makes me so happy!

leather lover

guns & roses t-shirt, H&M
faux leather skirt, H&M
aztec cardigan, vintage
burgundy socks, Topshop
lace up boots, vintage
owl necklace, eBay
mustard satchel, Primark

I'm 18! Woooo. I was gonna do a post on my birthday (wednesday) but I didn't get round to it! I had a lovely meal with my friends and they suprised me with cakes and presents! They all chipped in to buy me these leopard print wedges! I absolutely adore my friends and I love love love the shoes. I'm sure they'll be making an appearance on my blog soon! Other than the wedges, I also got a camel blazer, owl ring, money and a few other little things :) Thanks for all the birthday messages sent via twitter!
I went shopping yesterday and had a successful day! I bought both the leather skirt and the Guns and Roses tee which I'm so happy with. I bought the leather skirt in both tan and black just cos I love it! I'm so obsessed with leather. I now own 4 leather skirts haha. But they're so versitale, you can wear them with anything! I'd definetly consider investing if you're reading this! I've also wanted some burgundy socks for a while and was hoping to find cheaper versions than Topshop ones but there was nothing! Burgundy is completely the colour of AW11, I've become a little too obsessed and bought about 10 things in this shade!
Also, I'm suprised you don't see this aztec cardigan on my blog more often. I've said it before and I'll say it again... I rarely take it off! Somebody emailed me about a month ago saying they found my blog through googling 'vintage aztec cardigan'. Crazyyy.
I'll try to be a better blogger this week and post more than once!

colour poppin'

turquoise blouse, ARK
hot pink lace trim shorts, Topshop
studded denim jacket, Primark
mustard satchel, Primark
lace socks, Dorothy Perkins
heeled sandals, Primark

Apologies for not posting all week, I've been busy! This is possibly the most colourful outfit I've posted but why not ey! I love the colour clash betweetn the pink and the turquoise. Its so bad its good! I wore this shorts with a studded crop top to my best friend Jodi's 18th last night. We had a really good time and got a little drunk and crazy :)))
Also I've re-ombred my hair! It very bright but it'll fade in a week or so if last time is anything to go by. I've done it further up like I've been wanting for ages. I used pink hairspraw on the ends of my hair last night, might do it for reaaaal. hmmm
In other news, its my 18th birthday on Wednesday woooooooooo!! I'm excited, I might treat myself to some JC Litas! I need some in my life.

the levi's revolution

nude blouse, Republic
cut-off Levis, vintage
bow belt, Primark
timepiece necklace, eBay
spotty tight, Primark
heeled boots, vintage

I adore these shorts. I love how they're so tattered at the edges giving them such a grunge vibe. I bought them earlier this year from a vintage shop and they have never let me down. So versatile! I own an identical pair in a darker shade too. I feel these ones are more summery but once we properly get into autumn I shall definitely be bringing out the darker denim. Also this nude blouse, another basic, but very wearable item. I've been wearing it with leggings this week and with a pleated skirt. You can't go wrong! I didn't mean to look quite so 'indie' with the ripped tights hahah. I laddered a pair and thought I'd exaggerate the rippedness rather than throwing them out. I've said before just how many pair of spotty tights I buy from Primark... literally 10 pairs of the £2 bad boys every time I go. Just keeping the sales afloat! I find it difficult to understand how people can buy Topshop ones for like £10... I'd ladder them putting them on!
I should probably block eBay from my internet. I spend hours on the site searching for items, buying and bidding, then grieving over not winning. Its actually one of the worst feelings ever when you get outbid at the last second! But I love doing it to people and winning.... hehehe.
Finally got round to adjusting to Google Chrome this week! I love how it underlines my spelling mistakes. I type fairly fast and often realize days later my incredible typos! < ha it even recognizes typo!
Lots of stuff happening this month and next. Loads of birthdays, nights out and trips around the country eeeeee.

you left me speechless

leopard print blouse, Matalan
faux leather skirt, H&M
socks, Primark
heeled sandals, Primark

Here's a little something I wore to college this week. My leopard print blouse was from the sales last Christmas in Matalan, about £5! And the leather skirt was another non-expensive item, about £10. Hehe i'm such a bargain hunter! I love leather though. Its perfect and matches everything. Need a studded leather jacket in my life.
I've got back into the swing of things this week and its strange to be back into a 9-4 kinda routine day.  Got lots of college work to be cracking on with every night and apply to universities and searching on UCAS gets me so excited. I'm going to London College of Fashion to have a look round on October 1st then Manchester Met on October 19th, anyone else attending? Its exciting stuff!
Also, Olivia Kate Slack named me as her inspiration on ASOS Fashion Finder, CRAZY. Feel a bit famous hahah. Check it out here.

naughty but nice

khaki parka, Topshop
BAD crop top, Republic
black maxi skirt, vintage (my mum's)
heeled sandals, Primark

I was reluctant about posting this, just cos I guess its a love it/hate it outfit. My sister hates it, but I like that fact. I love to be controversial. The skirt was one of the treasure's my Mum had kept since the '70s and I have been stealing it. Its a sheer maxi, so you have to wear something underneath. I found my old bodycon skirt to use as a slip.
Back at college again now. I've dropped German, but taken up another business course this year which will hopefully boost my university application. I'm also continuing to study Maths, English and Business & Ecomonics at A2.
Tonight has been my first night off in 12 days. So glad. It feels so great to be sat resting and not running around a restaurant!
My 18th this month.... you all excited for me?
