Sorry for my lack of blogging this week, its not that I forgot... Its been on my mind but I've just been really busy and sometimes there just aren't enough hours in a day. Most of my half term has been taken up by work. I have two jobs so I have a lot to fit in as most days I'm working day and night. At least I've got payday to look forward too.

Other than work this week, I've been shopping. Twice actually. But yesterday I didn't buy a single thing, except some nail polish and beauty products! I went shopping with my family to Newcastle Metro Centre on Tuesday which was immense! I went a bit crazy and spent over £100 in Primark... but in my defense thats a lot of stuff! I couldn't resist! It felt so refreshing to see all the spring stock. Pussybows, florals and midi skirts. I'm loving the 70s vibe to SS11! I bought some lovely things and I'm quite excited to blog about them :) so watch this space...

I wear this outfit a lot. It has become very 'me'. You can't see from the pictures but I'm wearing some striped button earrings which match my top haha. The trousers look very pink on these photos but they're more of a brown colour in reality. My old faithful denim brogues are looking a tad tatty and I need some tan loafers to make me happy but I'm yet to find the perfect pair.

I had a lovely day on Friday watching movies, playing dress-up and chilling with my friends Rose and Jodi. And then on friday night (my only night off this week) a group of us went out bowling and for a meal with was really nice. Gosh I love my friends!

What do you think of my new blog title? Instead of the floral 'monicabarleycorn' pattern which I was getting bored of I thought I'd find a picture to represent my blog a bit easier. I like it, but I wish it wasn't as big.

Its only been like 5 days, but I feel like I haven't blogged in ages! Not much is happening, same old, same old. I break-up from college for half term after this week. But it won't be much fun because I'll be working like every day and night.. nice life Monica.

 I bought this shirt a couple of months ago, and I simply couldn't resist the cute bow and puffy sleeves! But this was the first time I've worn it because I didn't really know what to match it with. My leather skirt arrived last week and I just thought it was perfect to wear with the shirt:) I'm quite a colourful person so I don't really wear just black and white so much but it was quite refreshing.

Did everyone have a lovely Valentines? I had a amazing night with my friends on Saturday before we went to a Valentines Party. Playing Ring of Fire and Ke$ha blasting, good times! I went out for a meal with my good friend Ryan on Valentines Day :) The food was yummy and I had a great night, even if he forgot to bring my card!

Tomorrow is officially.. Rose Day! Well that's what she likes to call it... Its her 17th birthday and I'm super excited to go to her house with Jodi. We're have a girly night, watching movies and ordering a chinese. 

I'm thinking of attending the blogger meet-up in March! It sounds like a lot of fun and I'd love to meet fellow fashion bloggers. So hopefully I'll be able to get things sorted :)

I look so moody on these photos! People are gonna get the wrong impression of me! I shall remember to smile a bit more next time. I got this mint lace dress in the Topshop sales a few months ago. Defo one of my favourite dresses. I really wanted this New Look version of the cardigan I'm wearing, but i settled for the cheaper one! ;)
I've had Thursday and Friday off college this week because they've been teacher training days. I've had quite a lazy day today, well as lazy as days get for me. Got up at about 10am which I haven't done in about a month. I'm not a huge fan of lie-ins, I hate wasting the day. But its nice to stay in bed once in a while. Done lots of maths and business homework and played dress up for about an hour haha! I love just trying on clothes and messing around with my hair. Then I've been at work this evening.

Yesterday I spent the day with Rose and Jodi. We went to Rose's house and talked for about 3 hours, had lunch and watched Orphan. Scary film! It was so nice to spend time together though. Time flies when you're having fun! Can't wait for Rose's birthday next Thursday, we're gonna watch movies and order a Chinese.

I'm in love with Lady Gaga's new song, Born This Way. It was only released today and I must've listened to it about 50 times already!
My new ASOS & my H&M order came a few days ago! so excited to wear my new leather skirts! :)

I thought I'd mix it up this time and take pictures somewhere else in my garden. The usual location is becoming a bit boring. My sister Lindsey helped me with photos today and she asked for a mention on my blog so there you are! :)

I'm excited for this week, now that my full day of lessons is over, it should be good. I'm off college Thursday and Friday because they're teacher training days so me and my friends will hopefully arrange something good to do!

I've been wanting to wear with blue shirt/blouse (can't decide what to call it)  for a while but I've been puzzled as to what to wear it with! Its a bit short to wear with leggings, which kinda makes me wish I bought a bigger size. And this skirt, hmmm. I don't know. I really want just a black high-waisted skirt like llymlrs. Aaaah man I need a trip to Zara! Hopefully I'll go in half term. On the subject of new clothes, I ordered a black leather skirt from H&M a few days ago so hopefully that should be arriving soon. I couldn't believe my luck, it was in the sale for £12.49 reduced from £24.99 and i googled discount codes and managed to get another £5 off! Okay, so they didn't have any of my size left in stock, but one size bigger should be fine! :) Also I was in the mood to do a bit of online shopping and found this yummy brown leather-look skirt on asos! Ordered! I realised about an hour later that I'd already ordered my H&M one, ahh well. Has anyone seen TBA's new collection? OMG I'm in loooooooooove. If only I could afford it! So many pretty dresses and gorgeous prints. I'll hopefully get round to doing some proper fashion blogging soonish and talk about these things.

After reading lots of blogs last night it made me realise I really want a good camera and a tripod. I currently use my phone camera which is a Sony Ericsson Satio with 12.1 megapixels (the best camera phone in the world, well thats what it says on the box). I need to get my phone fixed soon because quite a few things have been broken a while and I just haven't got round to getting it repaired. Also I want a macbook.

I'll be putting some clothes on eBay in the next few days so I'll give you all a link when they're on. Nothing special, just a few things I never where anymore. Hopefully I'll raise some funds for all these things I'm wanting!

I've actually never known it so windy, its mental! When I came out of college today my bag literally blew off my shoulder and I had to chase it a few metres down the road haha, good job nobody saw me! I had immense difficulty taking pictures today with the weather as you can probably tell!

Hadn't worn this outfit since like summer and I thought I'd winter it up slightly with tights and a blazer. I dislike the way the blouse is sleeveless though, and I have to wear a vest under it because its sheer, which is annoying too.

I got back to the gym this week! Proud of myself! My best friend Mollie has joined which motivates me to go more now that I have a buddy. I'll try go 2/3 times next week. The trouble is, I work really hard and then when I get home I think 'oooh i deserve it' and end up eating loads, and putting back on all the calories i've burnt haha! I have no willpower. Are pistachio nuts healthy? I'm fully addicted to them at the moment, got a bowl right now as it happens.

I got one of my english coursework pieces back today, and I'm really chuffed with it, on course to getting an A :) Just a few errors to fix, but I've got a couple of weeks to be getting on with it so that's okay. I wrote a piece called 'Wasted On The Young', about teenagers for my writing to pesuade.

TGIF. Pretty boring night in is the plan for tonight, maybe watch a movie and do some homework. Work saturday day and night, and sunday day. money money money :)

I apologise for my lack of blogging lately, it seems whenever I get time, its too dark and cold to take pictures and I look disgusting ect.

I've made a new wishlist on the left of my blog. Well a couple of things from before are still there but I've just tidied things up a bit:) I'll add more when I get browsing my favourite sites, my mind is completely blank right now.

I went shopping at the weekend and spent £72 in my favourite vintage shop Deep. I suppose it isn't that much really, but I usually don't really spend that much in one go on clothes! Plus I didn't even have enough money on me and had to use my card, which I like never do. I got some dark blue cut off shorts, which I've been wanting for about a year now, so I'm pretty chuffed with them! :D Also a couple of blouses and a floral skirt. Can't wait to wear my new things! I was working all day Sunday so nothing particularly exciting there. I got asked if 'the almond cake had nuts in?' which was probably the highlight of my day.

I used to absolutely hate wearing my hair up, but now I love it. I don't think it looks particularly nice on me, but its so lovely not having to bother with it all day and it gets it out of my face! I used my doughnut ring for the first time haha! My clothes are quite boyish today, but I do love these trousers. I have about 5 pairs of chinos all in different colours. I wish I had some nice tan loafers to go with my outfit today though! :(

I'm actually really excited about this year. I need to get organising things to look forward to. I met my gorgeous friend Sarah yesterday for coffee and we're planning to go skydiving! I've wanted to do it like since FOREVER, and i just think it'll be an amazing expierience, so hopefully we can get that sorted! Also, I haven't been on holiday in about 4/5 years, so hopefully I'll go abroad this year, fingers crossed.

One last thing... 90210 tonight! :D
